MAKE A BOOKING

Our community transport service offers door-to-door travel to and from the Ulva Ferry area of North Mull.  Anyone is welcome to use the services: visitors and locals alike, individuals, families and groups.  

The vehicle we offer will depend on the size of your group, individual requirements and whether the Community Bus is already in use for the Scheduled Service.  Our Community Bus is fully wheelchair accessible with lift.

Scheduled SERVICE

Our fully wheelchair accessible bus runs a Section 22 Scheduled Service on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. This goes from Calgary via Ulva Ferry to Salen and back again twice per day (operates only on request).

  • The Scheduled Service is a request only service and must be booked by 4.00pm the day before travel
  • We offer a door-to-door service, passengers can be picked up anywhere along the route
  • This service ties in with West Coast Motors' service WCM 95 service from Salen to Craignure, connecting with the Oban-Craignure ferry
  • This service allows onward travel via West Coast Motors' WCM 494 service between Calgary and Tobermory
  • The timetable is for guidance only, more detailed timings for your exact location will be given on confirmation of booking
  • Late bookings may be available, please give us a call
  • Scottish National Concessionary Travel Scheme passes can be used on this service
  • Children travel for free on this service

Pre-BOOKED

We can take you anywhere on Mull. Our electric vehicles can be booked 7 days a week depending on availability. Anyone living on Mull, and visitors, are welcome to make use of our transport.

  • All bookings are subject to driver availability
  • We offer a door-to-door service anywhere on Mull - or further afield
  • Please call, text or email us to make a booking
  • Bookings must be made by 4.00pm the day before travel
  • Please advise if you have any mobility issues or additional requirements
  • We will always confirm your booking with details of the driver by phone, text or email, as preferred

OTHER SERVICES

Patient Transport Service

We can offer assistance with patients attending hospital appointments in Oban and Craignure through the Highlands & Islands Patient Travel Scheme, which reimburses patients’ travel expenses to hospitals for NHS treatment or appointments. 

We can take patients door-to-door to Craignure hospital, and if eligible, to Lorn & the Islands District Hospital in Oban too, and we are happy to offer assistance with obtaining and submitting travel claim forms. We are here to help!

  • The distance from the patient's home to the hospital must total at least 30 miles, unless the journey to hospital includes a ferry journey
  • Patients must pay the first £10.00 of any claim, unless in receipt of certain benefits or undergoing continuous treatment - please check with your GP
  • A travel warrant needs to be issued by the patient's GP Surgery in advance and a Travel Claim Form needs to be completed after travel
  • If an escort is deemed necessary by the patient's GP, their costs can also be reclaimed
  • Attendance at GP and Dentist surgery appointments are not covered by this scheme

Prescription Collection Service

We can offer a weekly prescription collection service from both Tobermory Pharmacy and Salen Surgery.

  • Please contact us to make arrangements
  • Please remember surgeries require at least 48 hours to process prescriptions
  • This service is FREE, donations welcomed but are not necessary
